I Love this Stuff!!!!

Another great night at the theater! The show was amazing and I can't believe there is only one left. Tonight at the "talk back" a woman who said that she met the Davis' told me that I reminded her of Ruby Dee!.....what an amazing compliment....I can't even tell you.  Click here to read a great review of the play. Just Checking In

Things are winding down a bit. Not a lot, but I am out of rehearsals. The play premiered on September 27th to amazing reviews! I love acting and I honestly wish that I could do it more often and for a living even. It truly brings me joy!

I started my MBA program on September 4th, and I haven't quite gotten into the swing of things or being back in school mode. I 'm praying to get a bit more focused so that I can prosper and flourish in my attempt to attain this degree. 

I am looking forward to getting back into a routine with the girls, which includes my reentry to the YMCA to work out. 

As the show comes to an end and I say goodbye to acting for a while, I really need to get focused.

On another note, I had a dream last night that I met Tyler Perry, (who knows, it could happen ;-)

Back At It

Last week began the trek back to normalcy. The girls began their new school year, I went back to school, and play rehearsals continue. I'm still in a place of trusting God. I have to. If I take my eyes off of him and focus on all that I have going on, I could probably get a little overwhelmed. But, I really am taking it one day at a time, and trying to do my very best, YET live in every single moment. I really have a lot to be thankful/grateful for, so I tend to focus on that. Where have I been?????

Well.....I have been MIA for quite some time now huh? I never meant to stay away this long. So much has happened over these last six months, (wow has it really been that long?) The girls are doing pretty good. They are growing very nicely and they still manage to shock me at least once a day. Lately, my days have been consumed with finding schools for them. Love Bug will be entering kindergarten in the fall, (my how time flies). Overall things have been pretty good. The cat is still crazy as all get out...but I love him. Hmmmm, let's see...


I finally got back on the stage after a long hiatus from the theater. In March I starred as Rachel in Charles Fuller's Zooman and The Sign. It was an amazing experience! I have also had several other creative outlets as a a stage manger, (that's what I'm currently doing). Uhh, what else???

Well God is doing some simply amazing stuff. I don't know how else to describe it...but I'm excited about it all. I have periodically jumped on here to check out your pages as well. I just haven't updated. I'm glad everyone is doing well.

I have an August goal of having my Sisterlocks installed, so I'm ultra excited about that. I am trying to become a little less dependent upon facebook and just check it once a day...we'll see how that goes. Here's to hoping everyone has a very happy Tuesday!
