3 Months/2nd Retightening

Today marks 3 months of being locked. I had my 2nd reti on Saturday......it was okay save the fact that my appointment was at 11 am and she didn't start tightening my hair until 12:45pm. I was not too happy with that. What's the purpose of having an appointment??? I guess I just have to estimate 4 hours of being in the salon when I have my hair done, even if it only takes her 2 hours to do my hair. I was a little grumpy, but four hours of sitting when you're uncomfortable and pregnant are a bit much to take.

Anyway, I am 9 days away from my induction, and though it seems really close, it seems oh-so-far-away. This is my last week of work, and I'm just praying I actually make it through the week. My baby shower is scheduled for Saturday, I hope I make that too! I've been busy getting ready for baby. I am going to attempt to actually style my hair for the shower, as I have yet to do anything to my hair but spritz and go. We'll see if that works out.

Up Close and Personal

Last week I was sent for another ultrasound because my doctors thought the baby was measuring a little big for my due date. Well, as I lay there looking at the screen, all of a sudden, the UT clicked a button which allowed me to see my baby in 4D. I had no warning....she was just there! I felt all sorts of emotions, as I really looked at her. I thought, "she looks like me." However the longer I stared ate her, I realized that she looks just like my oldest daughter when she was a baby....it was freaky.

Needless to say, I can't stop looking at her picture. Turns out she's estimated to be about 6lbs. 2oz. at this point. They pushed my due date up two days to February 18th, but I should still be getting induced on February 10th. Well here she is, chillin in utero:

Addicted to Ice!!!

In a non-hair related post, I have to admit that this pregnancy is so very different from my other two. When I was pregnant with my other two daughters, I didn't really experience cravings of any kind. However, this time around it has been all about pretzels and ice. Amazingly enough, I have never liked pretzels, NEVER! But I have to have pretzels everyday, I simply love them! And the ice? Oh, the ice. I eat so much ice all day long. I don't have an iron deficiency or anything, just gotta have the ice. This little obsession developed in the last two months. It's crazy, because I have it down to a science. I don't like to eat plain/bare ice. It has to have first been immersed in liquid of some sort, preferably a Seagrams Ginger Ale/fruit punch mix. After about the second glass, the ice is now ready to be eaten. It's turned into the best part of my day! Pathetic, I know.......

Pregnant Much???

Oh my goodness. I am 33 weeks pregnant and I am feelin it. Man, this is getting to be too much. I can definitely feel all of the extra weight. My back hurts, sleep is non-existent, and I have to pee like every five minutes! Don't get me wrong, I am excited to welcome my new baby girl, but I am soooooooo over being pregnant.

I realized that I haven't taken many pregnancy pics because I am feeling a little self conscious because of my fatter face and extra weight, but I at least wanted to have one post showing my baby bump. So here they are, I took some shots this morning.

Sunday With the Girls

Today was a beautiful Sunday in the City of Brotherly Love. We started the day off with morning worship, then me, Snuggle Bunny, and Love Bug went to eat at Ruby's.

Okay, what's new? Well I am 21 weeks pregnant and I have found out that I am having yet another girl. I found out last week.....and I'm grateful. I know, I know, God truly does have a sense of humor. I have accepted the fact that I am a mother of girls. Pray for me, as I am sure I will need patience a' plenty. I'm having problems settling on a name for the new little one, but I figure I have time. There are two names which I have in mind, but I haven't settled on one yet. I have picked her middle name though.

It is official, I will have my Sisterlocks installed on November 1, 2009, the day after my 30th b-day. It is truly my birthday present to myself and I am really excited! I'm trying not to count down the days.

All in all, I'm okay. God has me in an amazing place right now. He is building my character and causing me to be in a place of complete and total trust upon Him. It ain't easy, but I have no other choice but to trust Him, It's all I can do!
